The structure is designed in a way to ensure maximum daylight exposure thereby reducing artificial lighting consumption. Such a device may use some form of internal auxiliary power source for such purpose\, complying with all the safety requirements of the lift during normal run. The speed of travel is usually lower than the normal speed. On reaching the level\, in case of manual door lifts\, the device shall allow the door to be opened and in case of power operated door lifts the device shall automatically open the door. \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Architect who designed and advocated the geodesic dome for cities of tomorrow is: \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n\n a)	Buckminster fuller\n\n \n \n \n\n \n\n d)	Ludwig Mies Vander Rohe\n\n \n \n \n\n \n\n c)	Le Corbusier\n\n \n \n \n\n \n\n b)	F L Wright\n\n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n Ludwig Mies Vander Rohe \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n When the width of the car parking space and the width of the streets are limited\, then the generally preferred parking system is? \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n\n Parallel parking\n\n \n \n \n\n \n\n 90-degree angular parking\n\n \n \n \n\n \n\n 60-degree angular parking\n\n \n \n \n\n \n\n 45-degree angular parking\n\n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n Parallel parking requires the least width for parking i.e. 2.5m\, though it requires the maximum curb length for parking. \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Your score is The average score is 56% \n 0%\n \n \n \n \n \n Restart quiz

Aluminum powder reacts with calcium hydroxide and water to form hydrogen. The hydrogen gas foams and doubles the volume of the raw mix creating gas bubbles. \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n A blackbody radiant heating panel of 5 m 2 surface area at 35 o C surface\ntemperature is located 1 m away from a 1 m 2 surface at 20 o C. A catenary curve is\ncreated by its own weight\, pulling down because of gravity. The parabolic curves\nof the suspension cable are not created by gravity alone\, but also by other forces:\ncompression and tension acting on it. Also\, the weight of the suspension cable is\nnegligible compared to that of the deck\, but it is also supporting the weight of the\ndeck. This is also another conceptual reason why the suspension cables hang in\na parabolic curve. \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Congratulations! This gives cartographers a map to work with always in meters. The\nUniversal Transverse Mercator (UTM) coordinate system is a grid-based method of specifying\nlocations on the surface of the Earth that is a practical application of a 2-dimensional Cartesian\ncoordinate system. To map any spot on Earth\, one picks the UTM Zone centerline that is closest to it\nand then makes a map using that "UTM Zone" cylindrical projection. \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Congratulations! The underlying principle of the rebound hammer\ntest is: The rebound in the hammer is a function of the surface hardness and therefore the rebound is\ntaken to be related to the compressive strength of the concrete. \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Identify the colour palette that is created using any three equally spaced hues around the\ncolour wheel. \n\n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n\n Analogous\n\n \n \n \n\n \n\n Split – complementary\n\n \n \n \n\n \n\n Complementary\n\n \n \n \n\n \n\n Triads\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n A triadic colour scheme is comprised of three colours evenly spaced on the colour wheel.\nThe two most basic triadic palettes are the primary colours red\, blue\, and yellow and the secondary\nhues orange\, purple\, and green. \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Freight flows are converted to truck flows using: \n\n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n\n Weight factor\n\n \n \n \n\n \n\n Payload factor\n\n \n \n \n\n \n\n Distance load factor\n\n \n \n \n\n \n\n Volume factor\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Transportation agencies analyze highway deficiencies based on the number of vehicles\ntraveling on highway facilities and comparing that demand to the capacity of those facilities. Freight\nAnalysis Framework reports forecasts annual flows in tons between origins and destinations. In truck\nbased models: Truck surveys are used for estimating choice parameter. Freight flows are converted\ninto truck flows using payload factor. Payload factors are determined from truck surveys and weigh\nbridge data.
